~ Evening thoughts ~
In a broader perspective, the shortest way between two points is not the straight line… it’s the path of least resistance. This path requires less resources, and needs less time to be accomplished than the straight line. The latter encounters a lot of resistance, requiring a lot more resources, energy and time to overcome it (if it could ever be overcame).
From the same perspective, persistence is useful only combined with the path of least resistance. Otherwise, it could be useless or could lead to exhaustion (caused by the extra mental and physical effort required).
That’s why taking breaks (when we feel to) could help evaluating our path and resources, noticing the required actions to be or not be taken.
Are you paying attention to your path of least resistance?
